So the expansion is cheaper by half if you didn't own the game
In my region the game is 40 dollars and base dlc is 26
If you own the game and if not it's 52 for both in a bundle so customers get nothing for supporting the game in the beginning and actually have to pay double
And the sad thing is i know they don't care i bet the people in charge of these changes can't even speak English at all
I don't care if you're rich most people aren't and this is not good management

It's pretty smart, actually. Bundling the DLC with the base game at a discount will bring in a lot of new players who have yet to board the ER train, and they already know like 95% of the current playerbase will buy the DLC anyway. It's almost as if gaming is a business, who knew?

This is very typical in the gaming industry, stop complaining. Lowering the price of the dlc incentivizes new players to buy the complete edition.

It's not a "DLC for half the price" It's literally a bundle, and bundles are usually cheaper... shocker i know...

Also, please quit those mental gymnastics, you're not "supporting" anyone, a company made a product, and you bought it, that's about it really.

thats right OP, leave the small indie studio alone. your job is to consoom, gaming industry doesnt need to improve. they just need your money, pls understand

That's because the price of the game devalued in the 2 years after release.

it's not surprising at all. :praisesun:

edit: and of course they give you a better deal when you buy a bundle, to grab all the fence sitters that are not sure about buying the game.

I would've at least wanted to pay a on-par amount for DLC considering I bought the game pre-DLC

That's what I initially thought, but the game's listed price is still $60. If the DLC is valued at $40, then the base game should also be $40, but it's never dropped past $45 in any Steam sale. I am doubtful that will change when the DLC is released in late June.

So because it's typical then it's fine, and we should just stop complaining? Wow.

It would not surprise me if it went down (the price) in the near future,
i think it would be a good decision after the hype of the expansion to reel people in.

but we'll have to wait and see.

edit: i do think the bundle price will remain cheaper, that's usually how bundles work.

yess, its the usual stuff. i dont understand why people complain. like c'mon man, its just an ordinary day in the gaming industry, a common practice, lol

inhumane crunch, sexual abuse, mass layoffs, its just an ordinary day in the gaming industry. nothing need to change really, hahaa, if some other studio can do it, why cant we??

Or....and bear with me here.....maybe you get the base game significantly cheaper if you decide to buy the bundle that includes the brand new expansion.

Perspective is everything friend.

you don't own the game so i consider it supporting as i don't own anything here

As I noted elsewhere - if this happened instead: No bundle, but ER goes on sale on June 15th... noone would even have had the idea to complain. But please, whine about every GOTY edition that came out ever because all of a sudden it's all a scam...
