THE REAL QUESTION: Start Fresh With DLC?

Played the game to death at launch. Haven't touched it after I beat it the first time. What are you gonna do when DLC launches? Start fresh or continue with previous character? I am split!

already did 2 weeks ago, im at RL 50-60 now, I felt like it was about time they released the DLC, so I started my 2nd playthrough, so far Im really hyped

They arnt releasing the dlc....

They are releasing a gameplay trailer

leaks are saying the dlc is aimed at rune level 20-30 so it's for early stage characters soon after weeping to a detour before progressing to stormveil and lirunia of the lakes , and will have a gameplay time of around ~1.5 hours.

That sounds an awful lot like re-purposed cut tutorial content.

It makes sense, too. A way for a fresh character or a NG+ run to both have a same-ish experience of it.

i did both. im playing 2 saves one with end game gear and stats at ng+7 scaling and one right at the beginning of the game ng+0

I always start fresh when DLC came out since DS1. Cuz usually DLC starts during the middle of our journey or right before the end.

Don't want to be too overpowered when i enter the DLC area as it will reduce the challenge quite a bit, therefore less fun.
