Why does Elden ring have so much pop in and clipping?

Is it because of its PS4/XBO roots?

I love the game to death but man is the pop in and clipping distracting at times.
Anyone got a mod that would fix the LOD they can recommend? I don't care about online play.

You guys don't see Grass popping in at certain distance away in fields, or your weapons clipping through your hats/cape/shields/torrent?

The game runs at 60fps locked but it seems like just an engine limitation?

clipping is typically in all games with cloth and animations.
but i never notice it in a bad way or anything.

I don't have the popins, I know what you're talkin about, BDO had it really bad even on good PCs, especially on horse back.

The clipping is a thing tho, I make sure I wear gear that doesn't clip through my weapons. If you're using greatswords a lot of hat's don't work

Can't say that I ever notice any popping when I play. Clipping is definitely a thing if you're paying close attention or wearing a giant hat, but that's really just a limitation of the genera. You can also stick the camera inside your own head sometimes and literally look at the back of your eyeballs. That one is a lot more of a fixable problem than the clipping.

elden ring has one of the best draw distances in games i've seen
