Well, what are your current stats, and what are you aiming for? Do you want to try an entirely different build, or just supplement what you've got a bit? Incidentally, I'd recommend against trying to split your damage across three or more stats at that level. Two is a lot more manageable.

Want to be a lightining god, literally, by using encantations and then maybe try a different build when the DLC drops

That's a fun build. If you haven't been focusing on either Fth or Dex already, I would respec. It sounds like you want to try out something completely different, rather than a scenario like focusing on Str, then deciding to add on some Fth for buffs or something like that. Don't be too scared to use larval tears, there are plenty of them around.

I would say see what the dlc gives before you act. beast claws my be fun but i know not how they scale or even how they play.

Unless you're devoted to co-op on that character, or hosting invasions, there is no reason to not level up. When you're ready for a different build, be sure to farm up plenty of runes to buy upgrade mats for weapons/seals/staves and also to upgrade with, and Larval Tear away.
i have dex at 46 and faith at 59, everything else is at 30s except arcane and str which are at 20s. wanna try gransax spear and katanas but i heard katanas are not as powerfull as before. i just came back to the game like some days ago

Ooh. Yeah. Try investing into Vigor first, then only into the stats you immediately want to use, in your case Dex and Fth. A little into Endurance and Mind if you need it. You'll notice a massive difference right away. Spreading your stats out like that really doesn't work well in souls games, I'm sorry to say.

Why not just keep leveling up so you go into a pool so wide anyone can match with each other? It's either around level 301+ or 306+.
301. But you can't match with anyone then, just with people level 301-713, which is the max.
