Not katanas, but the Venomous Fangs are the only infusable weapon with innate poison. Like all innate poison weapons, it inflicts deadly poison. If you put a Poison affinity on it, something interesting happens. It retains the higher damage of deadly poison, but extends the duration to match regular poison. This makes them good for an opener to inflict deadly poison, then switch to something else.
If you want to extend your scope to include scarlet rot, the Antspur Rapier is an infusable weapon with innate rot buildup. You could put a Poison affinity on it to inflict both poison and rot simultaneously (not deadly poison, unfortunately). Or you could go for Blood. Or Cold. Or just whatever matches your stats. Keep in mind that rot, unlike poison, will not scale with Arcane.
Also look into Poison Moth Flight. If you hit a target with it while they're poisoned, it will inflict a big chunk of damage (similar to bleed) and immediately end the poison effect. This allows you to repeatedly proc the Kindred of Rot's Exultation talisman and the Mushroom Crown by inflicting poison more frequently than you'd normally be able to. Could work well with Occult Venomous Fangs, as the rot talisman and crown buffs last 20 seconds while unextended deadly poison lasts 30 seconds. So when the buff runs out you would have a few second to use Poison Moth Flight without losing too much of the poison damage.
