What do you mean „should“? My NG+7 char is 167, for example, but I also have 174 in NG+1. many people get to +7 at rl 1.

Since there is no matchmaking consideration for the NG level it does not really matter.

Shadow of the Erdtree uses a different leveling system anyway. It doesn't matter.

I don't think your level won't matter at all. What has been said is that there's a system to get permanent buffs, but I doubt it will completely invalidate your entire build and gear...

Fair, your stats will probably only matter for what you can equip, but theyll probably matter just a little as they do in the base game if not less

I mean, not to be that guy, but I'd say stats matter more than a little in the base game

If the game can be beaten relatively easily at rl1, stats dont matter

"relatively easily"
No, it cannot be beaten relatively easily. Beating the game at RL1 (without zipping and other exploits) requires you to run very specific setups to do remotely decent damage, easiest being using the grafted blade greatsword alongside stat boosting gear to meet the minimum reqs, only to do half the damage of an actual build or less. On top of that you'll get one shot by basically any attack past earlygame.

The joke is that 301 all the way to the level cap can matchmake with each other, it's an open level range. There's no reason to stop leveling if you're going that high.

Always stayed on lvl 120-150.

I think Mohg is a good benchmark. If you can't beat him, grind. If he's tough but doable so will the DLC. If he's a cake walk, I'm sure the early DLC area will be okay but I imagine it will continue to get harder.

The early version of SoTE that some people got access to had their characters at level 150, if that means anything.
