Seamless co-op lag

Friend keeps lagging alot, any idea how to fix? He's on ethernet and in same country as me.

Ask him for his IP address then go to (Windows) Start -> Run-> cmd -> tracert <ip-address>
If you're getting a lot of hops with high ping then the problem is with one/both of your network connection(s)

first, each of you should go to www dot packetlosstest dot com and run a packet loss test. set test duration to 90 seconds, choose the server closest to you and keep other settings at default. run the test without navigating to another window or browser tab. this will help narrow down who is actually lagging. for pvp, the only truly good result here is 0.0% total packet loss, and once you get over 0.5% or so, you will start to notice a bit of lag. over 2.0% packet loss is crazy lag. just to give you an idea of what the results might mean.

if one or both of you have consistently moderate to high packet loss, its not something that can be fixed with stuff like game settings or mods and its an issue with your connection itself. this could be due to any number of things, some of which are out of your control aside from switching ISP or upgrading connection quality.

Got it pretty much fixed with using Radmin or hamachi
