Since when are DLC price as much as some full games?

What type of stupid world am I living in? Gaming addiction is becoming a problem it seems that people are ok with DLC being this price.

40 dollars is a ton for a dlc. This should not be normalize at all.

Ok, still, whatever you call them they are still the same thing. It's kind of funny in an age where people are constantly applying multiple usage to words they would pick this to be an issue.

words are fluid and change all the time. mmo expansions are almost as big as the full game.
dlc are quite a bit smaller and a game that represents like 20% of the game might not be considered an exp by any means these days.

Elden Rind Expansion - A new map that is an entire continent, several new bosses, new items, at the usual expansion price.

Valorant - $120 for a single gun skin
