It was really really easy, IDK if blackflame is just unbalanced but my spells were so op that everything melted braindead easy
there was also a spell that full healed me every time I cast a spell, so just spamming black flame ball meant I was literally invincible
I didn't run into any glitches but I did run into unfinished areas, but its possible they have been updated by now
Well that sounds a bit unbalanced. Oh well we'll probably just enjoy the spectacle then. Thanks.
To be fair that sounds a lot like my first vanilla playthrough with blasphemous blade 😂
I'm not surprised though. DS3 convergence mod was stupid hard for an hour or 2 and then I spent the rest of the time blasting my way through the game with op spells. Got so bored I didn't finish it despite how impressive it was.
They have been trying to add set bonuses that are disabled for magic users to compensate for the disparity with magic builds. Idk how well that worked out because I took a break a while back and won't pick it back up until they have had time to integrate the upcoming DLC into the game.
There are definitely a number of areas that are not finished though. In my playthrough I found a place where they didn't turn off the automatic height death on one of their new levels and it was really annoying to fix (I had to use a "program" to get past it to the next bonfire). If you are looking for a fun and complete convergence experience then I'd recommend the DS3 one. It's a ton of fun. ER:C is good but won't be at that level for a while, especially with the DLC coming.
Honestly after playing with a bunch of modded black flames, and even my own custom black flame mods
Vanilla feels like it got it right, each spell eating an additional 2% feels really good without being OP
and as much as I want black flame blade to last longer the fact that it adds a 1% hp burn a second means it would quickly become silly op if it lasted longer
I made a mod that made it last 14 seconds and being able to burn up to 16% of an enemies hp with one blade cast was just busted
If you want a good overhaul play Reforged. That actually improves what is already there before it even considers adding new stuff, it's a very refined mod.
