patches nowhere

patches isnt at murkwater cave, volvano manor, or shaded castle. I tried to find him at murkwater but the chest had his gear an dbell but he wasn't there..,

If you progress too far patches is just dead. If you got patches bell that means he died. It sucks. Happened to me on my first play through I just explored too much too far and never even talked to him. Missed all his gestures in the process.

I understand. I wanted the Bull-Goat armour but I guess I'll make a new character. This is my first souls game and I did my best to avoid googling as much as possible but these quests are just so confusing I missed a lot of stuff.

If you're that far into the game, you may as well finish it out and go for the equipment you missed in NG+.
