ELDEN RING
Is there any build that uses Confessor to minmax?
Like its understandable that wretch isnt used but confessor is so miss leading for new players
And if you go confessor your build can't be min maxed.
9 int and 9 arcane????
it makes no sense.

I don't think
you did any maths
lets make pvp builds that just focus on the weapon with a 24 across the board stat spread
Confessor 120: https://i.gyazo.com/e71d538284dc9d2d055eb57a9e59bd51.png
vegabond 115: https://i.gyazo.com/176a91351487117f7a1d646d8e012135.png
Even if you wanted to put more points into mind
you get more from vegabond

Confessor is not the best choice for sword of night and flame
Those stats aren't wasted on vegabond because you still get scaling off of them even for min requiremenets its still better to go vegabond over confessor due to vegabonds lower arcane.

Plus if you factor in mind it doesnt matter if you use confessor or vagabond because you can only use the start of night and flame 3 times each.
But confessor can follow up one and use it once while the vagabond can't

Not only that but if you start as vagabond you can relevel into minmax builds
While with confessor you cannot.

Your mistake here is putting points into STR and DEX. These attributes add practically nothing to the melee damage output from Sword of Night and Flame, a weapon which really is all about its Ashes of War, which depend exclusively on either INT or FAITH. These extra points should instead go to VIGOR, MIND, END, and either INT or FAITH (depending on which Ash you prefer - since I prefer the fire attack, I choose 24 INT & 50 FAITH). Furthermore, I really want 16 MIND so I can use my fire attack 3 times per blue flask. Thus, I insist that Confessor/Astrologer is better than Vagabond specifically for a Sword of Night & Flame PVP build, albeit by a measly 1 attribute point. Nevertheless, Vagabond is overall better class compared to Confessor for, duh, every OTHER build I can possibly think of.

Confessor is for min/maxxing your Fashion Souls game. Confessor has hands down the best looking starting outfit. Swordsman is second.
This is a subjective statement. Incidentally, I agree with it!

Yes but theres never a reason to build confessor over astrologer still.
And astrologer like vagabond can rebuild into better classes.

These are true statements, specifically because this forum taught me that even for a Sword of Night and Flame build, Astrologer = Confessor. So ultimately, to choose Confessor is to sacrifice a few points of optimization for the sake of style.

Start as Wretch ... Always.

every class has 80 points at lvl 0

(total points allocated - character level = 79)

The most logical is wretch as you can customise from the start.
Its impractical to have any stat be under 10 so you will end up allocating to them anyway.

it's just what gear do you want to start with .....
do you want to start with a Great Knife .... or farm one.....

apply that formula to every character ... the real focus is only which start under 10 ..... but still ... just play a wretch start with the lands rune .... you will have 3000 runes to start... walk to vendor on beach buy a broadsword.... game on.
Not really, you don't put points on Int if you don't use anything that requires Int, same goes for faith, same goes for arcane, or any stat you don't need. Wretch has the greatest potential to be wasteful in terms of minmaxing builds.
