Use another straight sword.

Also, it's not great as a weapon. Good as a casting stick but splitting damage three ways makes it pretty bad as an actual sword. The Lazuli Glintstone Sword, Carian Knight's Sword, Crystal Sword, and Rotten Crystal Sword all have intelligence scaling and could pair okay, but your best bet with the SoNaF is to use the beam attack for massive damage. Since that scales off intelligence you'd be best served with a staff in your off hand for longer ranged spells.
