Whats the hardest boss in the entire fromsoftware games?

My vote goes to Elana, Squalid Queen, but only at high NG+ levels. I fought her on NG+4? It's been so long I forget if I went to 7 or just stopped at 4, and it's just an rng fest of how many times and how early she summons Velstadt, because she gets so much hp you can't blitz her down anymore.

Edit: (only souls game I haven't played is Sekiro, so I can't give a completely comprehensive opinion, but I have extensive time in all the other souls games except 3's NG+ and DLC final boss, thanks to a hard drive death wiping all 4 of my characters I spent a ton of time setting up for pvp killing my motivation to continue playing it)

Oh, if we're talking run-back to the boss as well, second Smelter Demon (from the DLC) having a disgusting run-back, though I don't remember all the run-backs so well to say that it was the worst, that one definitely sticks out in my head as a really nasty one!

nameless king... still haven't beaten him to this day.. beat all other DS3 bosses including both DLCs, all ER bosses including recent DLC bosses... but nameless king in his second phase rekt me too many times to remember... might have to download again and have another crack! 🧗‍♂️
