Lets take a look to your collection of recently relased Unreal 5 (or other new engines) games. Hmmm.....i dont know man, Talos Principle 2 looks better than Starfield and the NPCs actually have better facial animations but other than that its been a while since you bought a eye candy fest game.

I recomend you to improve your collection and while you are on it raise your standards! Count your blessings for having Elden Ring and make sure your RIG actually can run the game properly becase for your post i understand your game looks like this

I often find it looks both good and bad at times. It's definitely lacking in contrast in a general sense. Been eye-balling some reshade mods to see if I can make it a little better. That appears to be the only thing that can help outside of forcing yourself to offline only mods. 😕

Graphics are not super modern, but it looks pretty fine with 4K and everything to max. It's surely not the reason, to buy this game.

I agree with the opening post. Although Elden Ring looks quite nice, it could look a bit more photorealistic if it had higher resolution textures, subtly enhanced ambient occlusion, higher draw distance to prevent pop-in while outdoors, and a depth haze effect to add a subtle blur to objects in the distance. And these things could indeed be implemented, given that even at maximum graphics settings this game only consumes at most 8gb of VRAM.

because is not necesary, the game yes it looks yanky AT times, but it looks beutifull in a lot of other places (i have a 3060ti-intel i7 and 16gb so it may be spects, also maybe your monitor, my second one is way better quality while being cheaper), the remaster of dark souls didnt looked great for the year it came out. Also grapics are not important, look at dark pictures they have good graphics and are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games
