Can't change cpu priority
When you try you get "access denied" I'm guessing this is because of EAC, can anyone else confirm?

The security Features used by the EAC with this game do not allow to change priority or core affinity.

If you don't need player summons and don't care about invasions, you can disable EAC and then are you able to change the priority and affinity.

To do this, go to ....Elden Ring/Game
Backup the EAC.exe
Copy elden ring.exe and rename to what the EAC was called.

Should look like "start_protected_game" or "start_protected_game.exe" depending on if you have file extensions showing.

If you do not back up the EAC, the only way to play online again is it verify the files
Unless you want to play seamless COOP mod, then you can still don't even need to do any of this.

Thanks for the input, I'll keep that in mind. Changing the cpu priority isn't something I need to do, was just curious to see if it would have any noteworthy impact.
