Have you checked your resolution and made certain ray-tracing is off? Either one of those can eat your framerate with the quickness.
Yeah I turned RTX off cuz laptop cause global warming when you turn it on and my resolution is 1920 x 1200 even though my display reccomends 2560 x 1600
God bless
See thats my prob, pc lower than my spec runs better than mine. Idk whats wrong with my laptop
Low FPS can have a lot of causes.
At hardware side:
Low RAM Settings (3000mhz Dual Channel is the mininum for stable fps)
Throttle functions in the Laptop.
At Software side:
Background apps
System problems
Driver problems
Faulty EAC installation
i once had a fujitsu siemens notebook, that was good but had complete nonsense preinstalled settings for flashy presentation purposes. i had to undo a lot of crap to use it properly.
i would check the settings for weird stuff, they might have limited the refresh rate of the graphics card for example, so that there are no stutters when showcasing some graphics benchmark. In my case they gave windows far too much ram and pushed all the background stuff to max.
how to know if I have a faulty EAC Installation?
You can't know, you can only test if a clean EAC reinstall helps.
delete the 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' folder in C:\Program Files (x86)
then Use Registry Editor to delete all keys and values that had 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' to do this search up "REGEDIT" in search.
right-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Find and look up the term EasyAntiCheat_EOS and delete any you can find by search again.
then go into elden ring's game files in the installation folder and navigate to easy anti cheat, and click on the install_easyanticheat_eos_setup
a prompt will pop up and hit enter
