2 years and still no stutter fix
How the hell has it been 2 years and there is still so much stuttering... I just started playing again to prepare for the DLC so of course I'm gonna do what I did the first time i played through it and fight the tree sentinel right away. Only to find out the stuttering while out and about the map is still there. It's astounding they haven't gotten rid of it after this long

Its an issue with your PC.

Well yeah it's obviously they don't care and leave it up to you to find a fix on your end which may or may not exist.

that's a you problem... not the game. Fix your setup.

To everyone saying it's a me thing it's not. I know it's not a software issue at the very least. Multiple fresh driver installs didn't work then or now and since then I have completely reinstalled my OS. It could be a hardware thing but nothing I can do about that and the fact the elden ring is the only game i have problems with other high end games work just fine. So they may have optimized it for some setups but not most.

I also have this issue.
I run much more demanding games than this on ultra with 60fps+

It's because they hear criticism and attempt to cope as a response to it.
They did the same when I commented on the stuttering issues etc.

I know right like after trying all these solutions and even reinstalling my OS i think i deserve to be frustrated with from software for not fixing it. I was going to see if some mods might fix it and this guy made a mod based on this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58ETygl39eY however I am just going to do what the video did and what some of the comments in the video said to see if that works. All you have to do is in the task manager set the affinity of eldenring.exe uncheck a few cores wait a tiny bit then recheck them and to also set the priority of eldenring.exe to above normal and the priority of easy anti cheat engine to below normal. So guess I will try it out next time i play

This sounds like an AMD issue.

The stutter fix is called linux and dxvk.

The game still has the shader comp stutter it had 2 years ago. I've tried the game on linux and it is fixed there. So from software could fix it. They just don't want to/don't care. People already got accustomed to the microstutter and think it's normal :D

I know this doesn't totally fix the problem, but setting Shader Cache Size to Unlimited in the Nvidia Control Panel (I don't know what the AMD-equivalent setting is called, but I'm sure it exists) significantly reduced the stuttering for me.

Set low latency mode to ultra if using g-sync/ freesync.

Alternatively just get a new intel/nvidia rig. All problems solved.

try this solution, it worked for me mostly:
> Close the game, go to device manager, Sofware devices ,and search for "Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator" . Ok, DISABLE IT. Say bye bye to A LOT of stuttering.

For my 12700k OC it is a fix, i set it to 10G limit(i don't want my drive get stuff and suddenly kill my system one day)
Thank you.

these days my game started to random stutter and slowly rendering texture(showing white blank before textures get load), especially when in CUT SCENE.(I know it is a cache problem btw but i keep being too lazy to fix this 0v0)
