save duplication possible? allowed?

is save duplication allowed? and if so is there anyway I can duplicate a save so that I can just make seperate builds under the same character without all the admin of setting up seperate builds everytime? (regarding respeccing and gear/spell change)

You can do manual save backups but I don’t think you can actually duplicated saves

Yea that’s how a lot of people become merchants here, they’ll backup their save, drop a billion items, then restore said save. It’s also how some of my buddies reset our boss run marathons so they don’t have to play through the entire game again.

Be careful though because if the backup saves get old enough, it could potentially flag your account. Just keep track of them is all

I have a lot of backups, right before I go into boos rooms. Never had any problems.

It lets you manage each character individually where you can make copies and append them to your own save or transfer them entirely to someone else save.

It is honestly a really good tool for people who have already beaten the game to have the opportunity to dabble in any PvP bracket without the unnecessary time sink of having to do all they have already done.

I would use the elden ring save manager. its not too intuitive so be aware of the changes and always have a backup of your original file.
