No DLC achievements = BUY

I'm like 90% sure they are not adding additional achievements for the dlc, but if you're thinkin about it, please don't. Nothing more annoying than having all the achievements in the base game only for you to have to go back a year or two later to hunt again, I'm lookin at you Tales of Arise. I just wanna enjoy the new content in its entirety with my character I leveled, and beat all the previous challenges with without having to worry about more achievements. I straight up won't buy it like with the Tales dlc.

dont try to explain me why adding new achievements with a dlc is a bad thing unless you grow lazy over time.
cant wait to complete my collection of weapons but will wait before i want to remember the horrible control setup completely had forgotten how to fast travel after the many months of vacation.

Some people mostly play game for achievements. I mean, to each their own, but achievements and trophies are such a cynical way to keep people engaged. It's like gaming companies making zombies out of children. Slight exaggeration.

what is wrong with new achievements? literally if you care so much use CE like half this community does. some of us like to actually trophy hunt

I like achievements. For one thing, they give me some basic goals to work toward when starting the game, and they can also highlight interesting hidden features. I usually try to get every achievement in a game, but I'll skip any particularly irritating ones locked behind RNG and any speedrun ones. Some people find speedruns fun, I don't. Some people don't find achievements fun, I do.

New achievements with the DLC sound good to me. If for whatever reason having them is messing with you, just use SAM and be done with it.
