Returned 2 years later, disappointed
INPUT LAG IS A FEATURE:
-When you click the jump button, it takes like 0.20ms to jump, if u sprint it takes roughtly a whole second to start sprinting.
I made a recording and slowed it down, before your character jumps he bends his knees and then makes the jump, sprinting is just slow for no reason.
So FromSoft literally made input lag an actual feature in the game?
Pretty bad experience for a game that has combat entirely based on timings.

LAG IS ALSO A FEATURE:
-The game is purposely locked at unplayable 60 FPS, i couldn't even open the settings interface to change my settings because the mouse was moving around so slowly, laggy and choppy. When i move my camera around i see every individual frame being generated, my eyes are bleeding.

NO CONTENT:
-Beaten the whole game in 3 days, collected every talisman, every weapon, ng+4, almost maxed level, beaten every boss, there is just no reason to come back in the game?

I don't have input delay like that video, fix your setup. You do realize input delay is not a universal value and is determined by everything from your refresh rate, wired/wireless controller connection, frame time etc.

Use gpu framegen if you don't like 60 fps.

"What content is there once you've beaten the game?" If your teachers told you there were no stupid questions, they underestimated you.

There had been a few threads around release and most people didn't even notice. It was a tad worse in DS3, but the enemies were generally slower, so it didn't bother me much until Friede.

Old OP had troubles of his own
Playing Elden Ring always made him groan
He couldn't git gud so he went away
To find some other games he could actually play

But OP came back two years later
OP came back, we thought he was a goner
But OP came back, he just couldn't stay away... way way way

There's nothing wrong with my setup, if it was my setup then other games would have input delay too, but they don't.
And you are probably new to this community cause ppl complain about input lag and delay all the time, blud really think's its a "you issue"

"determined by everything from your refresh rate, wired/wireless controller connection, frame time etc"
Nope, it's not determined by refresh rate, i'm not using controllers cause they are inferior technology, also my mouse is wired.
Learn what frametime is before commenting 💀 ER is locked at 60 fps, that's a frame time of 16.66 milliseconds for everyone playing at 60 fps, the frame time will be increased if someone was to have fps drops.

"Use gpu framegen if you don't like 60 fps."
How is frame gen going to help when the game is locked at 60 🤣🤣🤣

Dude, are you really trying to break the world record with stupidest statements written in one comment?

You can always use mods to enhance your experience with this game.
I know this is most likely just bait and all but still, for anyone who does actually struggle with some of these things, there are mods for that.

I hate to break this to you, but all games will be capped at 60fps going forward soon. You can't have better graphics and an uncapped frame rate. And Elden Ring uses a capped framerate because of the physics system, mostly the hitbox detection.

So many complainers in this discussion board.

there's the risk of getting banned, plus FPS unlocker breaks some physics

You mean FromSoft games? Probably, that's why i've always considered them inferior
"You can't have better graphics and an uncapped frame rate." wym? My PC could easily run the game with 150+ fps uncapped, but there's the risk of getting banned and also the physics breaking.

"So many complainers in this discussion board" why not?

That's why you use mods in offline mode.
And the FPS unlocker hasn't broken anything for me thus far and I have used it for an entire playthrough already.

Still, this is a solution to your issues. Of course I'd be better for Fromsoft to adress those issues directly but well. They aren't.

Well then i would be forced to only play offline which makes the game more boring? That's not a solution.
Also it does break some of the physics and my friend also tried it and he had the same issues with me, movement speed was affected, jumping was affected and more bugs

It directly solves the issues you have with the game so yes, it is a solution. A solution with certain drawbacks, yes, but a solution nontheless.

So you're just here to vent then, I take it? Cause you're obviously not looking for help with your issues. Which is fine and all but next time just put a big [RANT] in the title so people know.

Well your "solution" will cause even more issues, so how is that helpful?
