Grafted Scion is commonly (mis)understood to be the "tutorial boss" despite the fact that his fight isn't designed to teach anything. A person who's so early in the game as to ask if the "tutorial boss gives an achievement" isn't typically going to ask about Soldier of Godrick (especially since Soldier is easy and Scion is an almost-guaranteed loss for new players).
Basic web searches for "elden ring tutorial boss" gives results for articles and wiki pages about Grafted Scion. Not factually correct for lore and all that, but whatever. I went with what I deemed to be more likely of the two.
