Were the sniper minotaurs nerfed too hard?
I remember my first run of the game and how much more challenging they made the underground area trying to avoid the arrows.
I know they got nerfed a while back but it feels like they went too far with the nerf.these minotaurs barely ever hit you with arrows anymore.

How does everyone else feel about them since the big nerf?

I think they were. They were supremely annoying, though.

FromSoft has a history of mistaking "annoying" for "challenging" in basically every Souls game. I'm glad they addressed it in this case.

"balance" is all over the place it was on launch it is now just differently, remember jump+heavy attack with greatsword feeling op on first play thru, came back to game and its so useless didn't used at all

I remember at launch being incredibly frustrated there. There range was insane and the damage, also insane.

The nerf was needed. It was so frustrating there at first, they were like railguns, had insane range and damage and were way too hard to dodge.

The nerf was needed. The prior state of the minotaurs were basically a more obnoxious form of poison/rot maps because you were just power healing through their buildup of frequent damage. There wasn't skill or tactics really involved. They simply pelted you with supreme accuracy and you would heal and then get shot again... repeatedly in a loop as you explored.
