D3d12core.dll issue

Hello guyz every time I start the game since yesterday it has a white screen and then crashes (the windows says)

Easy anti cheat
Corrupted file c:/(file location)/d3d12core.dll I can use some help please !! Thanks in advance !!!!

( tried to uninstall game .. and whole steam later and reinstall them )

Always start out with verifying your files. That is faster than a re-install. That being said, it sounds like potential corrupted files, which the verifying should find. Otherwise, I would also suggest getting ahold of the Fromsoft support. They can give you more info than any of us likely will be able to.

Untrusted System file d3d12core.dll in the gamefolder ?

Do you use a original Windows Version or a pirated?

If it is a original Windows open command prompt as Administrator and run
Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Sfc /scannow

If it is a pirated or debloated Windows this command will destroy your System completely.

tried that CMD too ... still nothing also triend CMD /scanhealth too just to confirm it was ok.. yet cant play the game

Did you done a upgrade from windows 10 to 11 ?

I ask because if EAC was installed at windows 10 and you done a upgrade to 11 this can cause that EAC needs to be completely deleted from the System including registry keys to install it fresh.

Windows 10 has a different Version of this file than Windows 11.

This is how to clean reinstall EAC

delete the 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' folder in C:\Program Files (x86)

then Use Registry Editor to delete all keys and values that had 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' to do this search up "REGEDIT" in search.
right-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Find and look up the term EasyAntiCheat_EOS and delete any you can find by search again.

then go into elden ring's game files in the installation folder and navigate to easy anti cheat, and click on the install_easyanticheat_eos_setup

a prompt will pop up and hit enter

A similar problem appeared a while ago for someone where the Windows dll Cache was corrupted the workaround was to install the dx11 gpu hack try to run the game with deactivated EAC, reboot Windows and remove the dx11 gpu hack, this fixed somehow the faulty dll cache.

I didnt change the version of windows ... but i try the steps u mentioned is there a possibility for it to work any way or this would work on windows 11 only ? it there is a possibility to work i guess i am gonna try it !!

This game works on Windows 10 if the reinstall of EAC and the dx11 gpu hack trick does not work you can be sure there is something active in your System that inject Code into this dll or in the worst case a hardware Hardware problem at SSD or RAM cause this.

dark-breed after 2 days of trying everything i could found a way to fix it ... even asked a friend who knows a bit better and still nothink we could do ... got it on expert and the only thing he could do was .... FORMAT ... hahah in other words if somone has the same problem let them know !!! by the way THANK you so much for your time and your help .. even if i couldnt fix the problem .. i realy appreciate it !! THANK YOU

sometimes it is the better way to format a system if the cause points to a malware or trojan that inject code into a system DLL than to search for the cause.
