Where can I find some meta level builds?
I've been looking for a place with lots of meta level builds so I can get a feel for how people generally distribute their stats, especially when it comes to secondary ones like mind and end.

When I triy to look for something like this via search engines, steam guides, etc. I mostly find badly done "articles" or meme guides, none or which are particularly helpful.

Is there a place for builds like mugenmonkey for the souls games where people just showcase their and maybe even rate them?

Idk any meta level builds but if you wanna know how to distribute your stats id recommend watching this video:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Fytr7Gg0TbA&pp=ygUkaG93IGRvZXMgbGV2ZWxpbmcgd29yayBpbiBlbGRlbiByaW5n

And this one:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uhIe39u_Ymk&pp=ygUVRWxkZW4gcmluZyBsZXZlbCBjYXBz
This second one explains level caps and what level caps there are for each stat.
For example vigor is only a good option to level up until 60 because after that you get diminishing results (the video does have timestamps)

There is some videos that explain it in greater detail there is this one but its longer:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uAFWQr08SZE
The guy who made the 3rd video also made a bunch of videos ranking all armors and weapons and ashes of wars and what not so if you’re interested in that you could check that out

Just use any build that ChaseTheBro uses, most of his build are centered around multiple weapons with different AoW for all sort of situations

if someone links you fextralife videoes, links, ignore them. Aim for 60 vigor, get as much endurance to not fatroll with your heaviest stuff, go for min stats for your weapons you like, and then dump the rest of the stats into str/dex/int/faith, depending on the weapons and spells you want to use, if you want to use spells get some mind too, stuff not that deep, wont have to watch misinformation containing outdated videoes and guides

Yes, they are.

If you want good, optimized builds, check out Steelovsky/Jeenine on youtube, and if you want fun builds check out LostMySanity.

I know most of them, but kinda forgot over time. Between these and Chase I think I'm pretty well off, thank you.

i dont even see any builds on that link, am i blind?
from what ive seen from those fextra guys, they kinda know their stuff, so i have slight doubts they would be "pretty bad", although some info on fextra is outdated at times.

Whatever, copying is a bad idea regardless. Competing with people of 1k+ hours experience while only having around 200 hours experience will leave you with a massive disadvantage if you use the same stuff. you need an edge to undo the experience gap, which you wont get by copying.

The wiki has a build page and build videos, some of them on the pages for the individual stats.

I don't care for copying people's builds 1 to 1, but mostly am interested in how people spend their levels outside of their primary stats, as well as how they distribute them on hybrid builds. I do think following experienced players in that regard is worth a lot.

i can only find PVE fun builds, they arent horrible for what they are meant to be.
i guess there simply arent any PVP builds on fextra to use as guidance.

That's the essence of high level PVP. In every game.
