But regardless of that: Nobody can tell you what weapon to use or not to use.
Go for it, have as much fun with it as you want, it is your decision to make, and nobody can veto it!
And if you need one dropped to play the game start-to-finish with it, surely somebody can help you with that, if you ask nicely.
Yeah there probably is, but what journey isn't complete without struggle. Like Bilbo to the One Ring and Sting, I'll just keep on fighting till I get it.
Arcane builds have a load of weapons & spells to play with I'm sure it'll be fun no matter how long you take to get Rivers. As for what other people think, screw them have fun with whatever you like I'm very much in the don't kink shame school of thought, if the game is too easy alter your playstyle or don't, the point is to have fun.
If you find Rivers lacking I'd recommend the Nagakiba with occult infusion its length is almost the same as rivers weapon art lol.
