Take Claymore instead to increase your maximum given honor while beating the game without summons.
There is nothing better then the feeling of beating one of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bosses only with your trusted sword and your iron will !!
Beating malenia with rivers of blood and mimic does not feel like a viktory - its a defeat !
Most of the, "Bleed op!" comes from PvP (which doesn't matter because it sucks) where bleed resistance doesn't get higher the more you bleed and bleed (all status effects) still hit you and build up even if you dodge perfectly and do not take damage. Then you'll stagger from the bleed which means follow ups can happen to you which makes you bleed again... PvP sucks.
You'll still have your balanced playthru as bleed procs will not come often enough to make a huge difference. You will still get them, but it's more of a bonus rather than the only way the enemy takes damage.
Dual scythes is rather fun to play, I enjoyed it quite a bit and didn't feel as tho bleed procs were mandatory to kill anything.
