check the windows event logs for the crash log and post it here.

windows ley+r
eventvwr
on the left side windows logs ans there applications
now you see the log list click at the event id 1000 Error
mark the text in the lower part of the windows with the mouse and copy it with ctrl+c
paste it here

if you have Msi afterburner or rivatuner running, close them both

Im pretty sure this is the thing your talking about "The program eldenring.exe version 2.0.1.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel."

it stopped interacting and not really crashed this means something else interrupted the code processing, there are a lot of possible causes.

faulty windows files
faulty game files
faulty drivers
background apps that interfered with the game
and some rare stuff

for now i would check the windows system for errors first

open command prompt as administrator and run this commands

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
after this is finished
sfc /scannow

repair both c++ reditributables

https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

verify gamefiles, restart windows, verify gamefiles again

close any background app.

i have to add it could also be caused by a faulty EAC update and a clean reinstall of EAC should be done too:

delete the 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' folder in C:\Program Files (x86)

then Use Registry Editor to delete all keys and values that had 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' to do this search up "REGEDIT" in search.
right-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Find and look up the term EasyAntiCheat_EOS and delete any you can find by search again.

then go into elden ring's game files in the installation folder and navigate to easy anti cheat, and click on the install_easyanticheat_eos_setup

a prompt will pop up and hit enter
