Do you gonna so the dlc in ng+ or ng ?

I have a few characters, most of them are in NG but I am close to putting them all in ng+ because I want to dual wield some boss weapons.
My first playthrough character is also in NG+
And I kinda wanna use him for that but NG+ in from software dlcs often tends to he 100 more painful than doing it in NG.

What are you gonna do ? Use your old characters in higher NG+ or a new one in ng ?

I do not make a habit of going into NG+ at all, so all of my characters are in standard NG, ready to go. This, in my opinion, is the best solution.
Some folks may prefer to start a whole new character though, and that is fine too, makes for a more coherent story anyways.
If you wish to dual-wield boss weapons, you can always ask a friend/someone in this forum if they can drop you a spare one, that way you do not need to enter NG+ either, and most of the lads here can be trusted not to mess your game up.

Past history with these games the DLC bosses are harder than vanilla game ones, so the higher the NG the harder they get so bare that in mind

Ya I mostly did go ng+ to have a chance to test out my builds. Because so many builds and weapons are very late game and I wanna actually play with them and not just have them for the last 2 fights.

Understandable, but even for that there may be folks around here that can drop you the weapon of your liking even right after game start, since anyone can pick up a +0 weapon!
Probably a bit too late to mention that, but better late than never, who knows what the future holds. Hope you can enjoy your builds in any case!

Ng because dlc alway add new things in base game and also ng+ is wayyyy to way easy till ng+4 and then it get wayyy to hard malenia can one shot you even at 80vigor
