Gatekeeping IS good though. Gatekeep your hobby or before you know it you'll be gatekept from your hobby by people that don't respect it and it will look nothing like it did before the gate was crashed.

I played the crap out of this game. Any gatekeeping has failed years ago. Most Elden Ring players are.... new players ;)

Yep, and pls note that I'm against the gatekeeping if that wasn't clear ;) Just looking at the sales numbers for ER shows that the "souls vet" is the minority. An even much smaller minority is posting here.

the souls vets are the reason you clowns ever got Elden Ring. You should be on your knees thanking us. We do need to gatekeep to keep the casuals out of the game. If you can't git gud you shouldn't be playing this game. I'm glad Fromsoft sees this and is not willing to cave to the casuals of the world.
