I see a ton of people playing but no summon signs outside of boss rooms anymore.

I saw one outside of Redahn but that was it.

On pc, most people play seamless co-op or use passwords. Invasions are still quite active if you want at least some form of online

Coop is still alive, you may just not be the "correct level" to see the signs. I feel like that's a stupid system because I want to be free to help anyone at any level. AT LEAST LET US REDUCE OUR LEVEL FOR BEGINNER DUNGEONS

Most players don't place their signs outside of boss rooms anymore. Instead they use the "near and far" option with the small golden effigy, this way they can get summoned everywhere, at all Summoning Pools they have activated.
That means: look for signs at the Summoning Pools.

Started a new character a week ago for a coop run, found signs everywhere, got summoned everywhere. Been sunbroing malenia this weekend and got summoned constantly even at 2am. Keeping her alive in my game for now and I see signs all over her hallway when I check.

Might want to use a summon calculator and check recommended levels for the zone you're in to make sure you're staying in the right range. That's what I did. Had to stop leveling multiple times along the way and stopped for good at rl125.

Did you use taunter's tongue or summon cooperators? So that's why you didn't get invaders.
Did you keep furlcalling finger remedy running all the time so you could see summon signs eventually(without any multiplayer password entered)?
Did you use blue ring for example?

And what about If everybody uses the same password in Group Password option? Maybe "STEAM"....

group password is to get free runes when someone with same pw defeats shardbearer iirc

Invasions don't prioritize group passwords.They can invade anyone.

from my experience, best levels for coop are lvl20 weapons +3/+1, lvl 60 weapons +12/+5, and lvl 105 +25/+10, while lvl 70 +16/+6 and lvl 130 +25/+10 still working but not getting much action. I'd say lvl 40-60 and +12/+5 is the best middle-range coop level, since you can match all players who got a +8 weapon from a quest early while still being able to match higher weapon levels up to Leyndell. But low-level coop is very viable too! Just remember - weapon level matters

People wrote their hearts out to supply you with information on level ranges and grp passwords. Information that would be easily obtainable for the knowledge-seeker by using his preferred search engine, I might add.
