Banished knight, blackflame monk, beast champion, tree sentinel, blaidd armor, cleanrot, radahn, lionel, malenia's armor, maliketh's armor, zamor, night maiden, omen etc. all great sets
I think only DS2 might have more sets that I like or at least a comparable amount
DS2>DS3>DS1>ER
I really wish they would expand on the armor alteration system. In addition to changing colors or swapping out emblems/crests, it would be nice to have a setting to change the visible condition of the armor (likely a simple texture swap, in most cases). I could see having three settings to choose from: pristine, worn, and ruined.
Imagine, for example, the Sun Realm Shield, but in pristine condition (I would call its current state "ruined"). And yeah, that's technically a weapon, not armor, but no reason they couldn't expand the system to include weapon customization as well. Especially for shields; I'd love to have the option to change colors and crests on shields.
I was so disappointed when I saw you could customize armor, and I was thinking you could alter their color in subtle but varied ways (no pink or anything that would disrupt the art direction). And then I realized altering the armor essentially meant removing the cloak. Boc scammed me.
I think it's better if I never trust demi humans again.
If they had done that, then imagine what we could do with the armor sets that don't have alternate versions.
It's a matter of scalability. If I make a game with 10 complete outfits then there are only 10 options for plays to choose from. If I instead make 10 shirts and 10 pants, now there are 100 different combinations players can do. If I have 10 shirts, 10 pants, 10 hats, and 10 shoes, there are 10,000 possible combinations. Heck, even if we say that we can only afford to make 10 items total, 5 shirts and 5 pants would still give 25 possible combinations rather than just 10. Not only that, but it's way easier to choose between 10 shirts and 10 pants than it is to choose between 100 complete outfits. This type of modular system is just better design.
like a bikini armor or something
And yeah, it's veryy hard to combine gear from different sets this time.
Also i have not found "my" weapon... 🙄 Hope the dlc will deliver.
not even the tree sentinel set? damn, it looks so good.
Dont know.. my char allways look fat in those 🙄🙈
