good weapon level at level 65 in terms of matchmaking

i feel like im getting matched with players less often as i leveled up (both invading/being invaded and co-op). I haven't really been upgrading my weapon levels past +8 (I would have been lower but then an npc invader forced a +8 weapon onto me). I know weapon levels are a factor in summons/invasions, so if I want to see more people at this level, what weapon level should I be?

weird that it seems to take longer to invade people then. maybe its just because the amount of players at this level is just overall less then earlier levels...

hosts tend to get the levels before the stones, while invaders tend to rush their weapons for twink factor, and these counteract

that sounds right and is where i sat for ds3 pvp as well - it's a power/progression plateau both invaders/invadees will meet, whereas those early levels have wildly disparate progression paths. aka convergence of pools

Lvl 60/+12 is one combination I use and see streamers use for invading, so I think +8 is too low at 65. However, I haven't played in that level range for some time and last time I did, activity was not great.

50-60/+12 can work, but 80/+17 gives you a very wide range (+12-22 weapon upgrade)

lvl 85 +17 weapons is for me the most reliably to get summons signs or get invaded at 139 +24 seems to work best at 150 you can go max 25 or 10 for the somber ones max lvl you want to lvl up to is 200 since you will get a way smaller pool for coop and invading
at 60 idk since i dont use it at that level so often

Your level isn't solely responsible for closing the power gap or trivializing bosses, so there are ways to counteract your increased advantages. Say, equip a less offensive talisman and replace with a utility, quality-of-life talisman which statistically saves time in some fashion.
