can the Sacred Relic Sword be dropped?

I know that you can't drop a weapon for someone if that weapon is upgraded to a level higher than what the person receiving it has in their equipment, but I also know that some things in the game are not droppable, so is the Relic Sword?

Any weapon or armor can be dropped.
Although, weapons can only be dropped and seen by players who have their own weapons upgraded or are in equal level to the weapon dropped.

I'm starting a new run and I wanted to use this sword from the beginning (It's not an NG+), so my character from the start could see it as long as I don't upgrade it, right?

As long as it hasn't been upgraded, you can see it and pick it up on a fresh character. Yes.
