Godrick is actually the most successful demigod

I always found this extremely funny, because as much of a meme he is, you look at Limgrave and it is by far the most active and lively region in the lands between. Godrick's men are out taking castles, he has the kaiden sellswords roaming around as bodyguards for the nobles, there is a significant civilian presence compared to the other regions (Kenneth and Edgar both have/had their own castles) The only real competition he has is Morgott and Mohg, but Mohg's dynasty is in its infancy and Morgott is only really interested in maintaining the capital

Eh, I'd say he's the most active demigod. But I'm not confident that anything was actually improving under his rule. He strikes me as someone who knows he's the weakest and is therefore struggling the hardest, and it's driven him a bit mad. He's desperate.

Like Kenneth says, you have to feel a bit sorry for him. He got dealt a bad hand and has been trying to make it work regardless. He's like someone playing, well, any competitive multiplayer game for the first time, and all of his opponents are veterans. It really isn't fair. It's no wonder he turned to a shortcut like grafting, because he really is just so far behind the other demigods that the only way he'll ever catch up is with a shortcut.
