His fight is meant for you to summon 4-5 of the available npc tarnished
Everyone's different, and difficulty is subjective.
lol
Radahn is hard if you fight him the correct level.
Most people however fight him with +9 Somber and claim he is easy because he dies in 4 hits....
I was 76 +12 for Radahn and 175 +25 for Malenia in my last playthrough, with 40 Vigor for Radahn and 60 for Malenia. I didn't have much trouble learning how to evade Waterfowl, but I struggled hard to dodge Radahns arrows and close the distance, not to mention his slam and meteor rain.
Still Malekith killed me more in the end, and I don't know if I'm just bad at dodging flips and beams, or if he really just is that ridiculous of a fight. Malenia has NOTHING on Malekith as far as I'm concerned.
That's probably it then. I always assumed that every single boss in the Soul series was balanced around the player fighting them alone. The only exception I can remember up until now is Ornstein and Smough; that was the only time I got the impression that it was meant to by fought by more than just the host...
Bosses are not balanced around spirit ashes yet you do use them ?
Boss AI cant handle more than 1 enemy
you can just pin pall aggro between you and summon with every boss in the game
If the game is not balanced around an intended mechanic then why is said mechanic even in the game?
Balance is a subjective term. The said mechanic and summons sub for the lacking difficulty slider. You have to keep those 5 summons alive as much as possible and get in a few hits here and there in the process.
I can relate having started facing him on my own as well and hes a struggle cause im not that familiar with his moveset compared to endgame bosses.
Regardless of how feel about Spirit Ash usage, I still find Radahn and Malekith give me more problems than Malenia does. Waterfowl didn't take me that long to figure out, and it can even be outright blocked and ignored with certain setups, but the flippy blade beams and pancakes Maliketh flings about like a crack addict are just beyond my ability to process and react to appropriately or in time.
That won't be a problem with radahn. Arena is 2nd only to fire giant. The latter was my easiest boss. My hardest was juno hoslow. I could not get him off my back even for a second. I finally killed him by pinning him against a wall with the rock blaster spell.
Are you saying that me using Mimic's Tear for these fights invalidates them?
