I don't know if I like elden ring
I have more hours in elden ring than I do in any other souls game
But I have fonder memories of literally every other souls game...
Am I just holding onto nostalgia?

I question if your audience will consist of any certified psycho-analysts, but...

...are you able to elaborate on what it is that you don't enjoy of Elden Ring yet still pressed on to play it more than any other soulslike?

No. You have more hours in Elden Ring because it takes forever to get anywhere or do anything, not to mention all the time you spend alt tabbing reading a wiki trying to figure out what to do or where to go next or make sure you don't permanently screw up a quest line just by naturally playing the game.

You have more fond memories of Dark Souls trilogy because they're better designed, more fun, and doesn't waste your time in a gigantic empty open world map, instead opting for a superior method of stage based progression and overcoming each challenge as it comes.

To enjoy Elden Ring more, you need to have ADHD because it throws you in 6 million directions at once and expects you to do each of them at the same time incrementally, never finishing a single task at once.

Damn OP...i see what you did here! Nice vinyl, im actually a bit jealous.

Lets see how many oblivious people devour the bait....they are so exhaustingly predictable but nevertheless.....click the profile people.

I think Elden Ring is objectively the BEST souls game, but I didn't enjoy it as much as any of the dark souls series.

I put this down to already being burned out on Dark souls 3 when I started playing Elden Ring.

I just dont remember anything cool about my 3 elden ring playthroughs

I dont remember any bosses being difficult, or feeling good overcoming the "hard" ones

It feels like I beat slave knight gael yesterday

I dont even remember half the bosses in elden ring, lol

As someone with ADHD, I can confirm we like Elden Ring.

As far as reading a wiki goes, naw fam, we do this ♥♥♥♥ blind. Just because you need a guide doesn't mean the rest of us do, or care that you need to.

Dark Souls hasn't aged well. Giant dad is all it has.

Dark Souls 2 has aged like a fine wine.

Dark Souls 3 is Three Buck Chuck. Tasty, but cheap and easy.

Let me get this straight...

You don't remember anything cool about your 3 complete playthroughs, you don't remember any bosses being difficult, you feel like you beat Slave Knight Gael yesterday, and you don't even...remember...half...the bosses.

That's it...I got it...

...it's amnesia.

YOU HAVE AMNESIA!!!!

Prescribed Treatment:
Wipe your save and complete a brand new playthrough of Elden Ring from scratch. Report here what memories you retain from that playthrough. We will then be on the heels of your affliction thereafter and get you on the road to recovery.
