Fromsoft are greedy. They're still charging full price on an 8yr old game and only discount it by about $20 (ds3)

Might as well blame steam, they take their ridiculous 30% cut.
If there's one who should reduce their cost during sales, it is steam.

A games value is also based on its relevancy. On average this game has 20 to 30k people playing at any part of the day (just on Steam) So from a business standpoint, why would they lower the cost of the game when so many people are still buying and playing the game? Games don't usually go on bargain bin sales or a base price cut unless they're no longer performing. Lords of the Fallen 2 is already on half price sale bc no one is playing it, even though it just came out like 2 months ago. Compare that to ER, which had hundreds of thousands playing it for months after release, and now two years later it's still at 30k. And I've seen the game go down as far as $30 this year.
