Charge Forth?
So, Elden Ring veteran returning to the game after a long while. I recently just started a new character as Vagabond, and immediately fell in love with the "charge forth" Ash of War. But knowing how ER gets later on, I know it's going to be worthless. So, I was wondering, is there any better version of this Ash of War (Like with fire, lightning, etc.)? Thanks a lot!

Naw, you'd have to infuse with elements when you get the different whetstones down the road. The scarab for the skill is in Liurnia by some land squirts.

Careful with it, it can be parried.

Pretty sure there anything even close to that, besides Prelate Charge, but that one is for the bigger weapons.

Alright, thanks. Ever since my DeS playthrough, I've always loved halberds, and because ER has the best weapon customization of any game in the series, its a lot of fun to mix and match with new Ashes of War. On my first playthrough I basically just used Blasphemous Blade and Uchi with that big blood swipe ability.

Not sure if you can put Prelate's Charge on polearms but it's basically Charge Forth but with fire and can be infinitely sustained (until stamina or FP runs out). The smallest hammer I've put it on is the Celebrant's Skull (I think that's the smallest greathammer in general?)

Loretta's Slash is the only elemental polearm ash I can think of off the top of my head, it's pretty good since it gives you a fast, wide sweep to compliment thrust-focused movesets.

Shield Crash basically does the same thing as Charge Forth, but for shields. It used to be a build meta (Ice element + any spiked shield + Shield Crash hitting 5 times = tons of Frostbite and Bleed procs) but it's still pretty good even after the nerf since it lets you guard and attack at the same time (+ moving forward while doing it).

Interesting... those Prelates always mash me into the ground whenever I'm not careful, so I might try that. But seeing as I'm in the Stormfoot Catacombs right now, I think I might need to hold on for just a bit...
