Using Wemod
So i ive owned the game for about a year now, as a gift, i have never touched the game for more than like an hour casue i dont exactly enjoy games like dark souls, or in that era. but i saw WeMod have cheats for the game, it did say becarefull while playing online it recommended too start a new charcter for online gameplay, i personally dont wanna get soft banned for my mistake, do i need to have steam offline in order to remove the online gameplay for elden ring? or is there like a section in-game settings for that? im not the smartest.

If you want to be extra sure look up Elden Ring nexus and look up the top downloads. There should be a mod enabler which automatically disables EAC/online play.

never go online with that save so make sure its deleted. Best idea make a back up save before using mod as you will need to delete that save to get back online

We-mod is a professional cheat engine.

meaning there are full-time software developers as their normal job working on that
Those people know what they are doing and took care that its launcher does everything needed to not get banned automatically.
Meaning when the game closes everything wemod manipulated gets atomatically removed from the save file.
it also automatically disables EAC

Steam can be online and you will get all achievements even with we-mod cheats on

All you need to do is start the game from we-mod launcher.

The thing that can get you banned is when you use a wemod save that has unachievable stats
For example when you are level 10 but have 99 in strength

I used We-mod to train for 0 hit runs in bossfights
i played that same training char 30h online with EAC
-> no ban.

but there was also nothing not legit on that savefile

Unfortunately Software Developers can make mistakes , too
So it is possible we-mod can get you banned.

==
And it for sure will ban you when you have stats that dont fit your char level etc.....
===

From my experience what ER Bans are mostly based on is = is what the char has possible legit.
if no -> ban

I have not used we-mod in some months since i am now good enough at most bossfights to 0 hit anyways... so i have no use for it.

But things like -> unkillable in we-mod
is a simple inject in the regulation bin that boosts your health reg to absurd amounts
so that you re-heal within 0,1 seconds

This has no impact on your savefile ! It just manipulates the games world settings temporarily and reverts it back when closing the game
so this can never get you banned

giving yourself 99 stats or 5 million runes however ofc will get you banned

thats strange.
What exactly did u use ?
Also maybe accidently pressed a hotkey that alterd stats >-<
happend to me before

Also not sure if we-mod was professional back then.
I think Elden Ring gave them quite the boost

could be that 2 years ago they were more hobby devs

I'd like to do the same and have NO plans to ever play these types of games online.
