Yeah I know about the Pates haha.
But I swear I hear real voices, very faintly.
I didn't know there's voice chat, so that could be it?
Thank God so i'm not crazy!
Why do I hear it now though...lol
Not for me though, I believe pc users don't have that.
And cross platform isn't a thing as far as I tought...
I knew it lol.
Dark Souls II and III, did have voice chat if it was enabled by both players through the settings menu. This was limited to coop/summoned sessions with friendly summons. You would have a little icon next your name with a icon of a shouting head. it wasn't reliable at all and didn't really seem to work, and wasn't present during invasions regardless of host setting.
If you played DaS3 arena PVP, you would from time to time hear a mic register from the connection of your partner, but it terminated almost immediately.
It's quite possible leftover fragments of this are baked in code somewhere. Wouldn't be surprised at all if it becomes an added during DLC launch/updates.
Thank you. All I needed was some evidence to show me I'm not crazy. Now I can finally be at peace xD
