Offline mode but with messages

I want to play Elden Ring but plan to use Wemod for unlimited health, etc. Does setting it to offline mode disable the messages on the ground? If so, is there any reason to care if I leave it in online mode and get banned? Would it affect my Steam account / ability to continue to see those messages?

If youre banned, you can't play online but it doesnt affect steam

it disables eac and you can't go online with eac disabled so therefore you won't see player messages

it's not a single player game, it has coop and pvp

hes talking about mods that hurt the integrity of the game. it should not be allowed even in offline. stay banned

Wemod (Which is a cheat engine) uses a seperate launcher ....
you cant go online with Wemod

Yeah but he said in offline too which makes the integrity question laughable. Why do I care if people want to play invincible? There's no fun in that imo but i couldn't care less.

They overdid the anticheat in this game imo. You can't use ANY mod at all, even if it's something like removing the intro logo's or unlocking the fps cap.
And its not like EAC is good anticheat software either.

if getting banned in elden ring works like in dark souls 3, you will get placed in a server with other banned people. you can play online with those banned people and i think you might see messages from other players in the normal servers (dont quote me on that).

it isnt worth getting banned to be able to see massages though.

^it does not work this way in ER. there is no banned server, when youre banned youre actually banned from online mode, iirc for 6 months, and the ban cannot be reversed by bamco like they used to in ds3.
