And if so what do you get from it? I couldn't beat them but I thought of restarting if its worth it.

you get the ornament sword and the ornament shield. The ornament sword is a very good weapon.
you can still defeat it later as you can return to the place and claim the rewards at that point.

most of us get trashed, its not worth restarting just to beat him, its also not worth choosing a certain class just to improve the odds of beating it.
