The easiest way I've found to handle most of the invaders are the various night sorcery spells since the AI can't dodge them.

Just parry them to death. It's quite easy once you get the hang of it.

If I remember right you get an item for killing them like a weapon or something else

A second invader appears soon after combat starts, but this one is on your side. If you can hold on, or run back towards the second invader, it gets a lot easier.
