So what's the answer? What if you're playing a game that can't reach the frame rates as your refresh rate? Do you just use v-sync? I usually turn it off to be honest and haven't noticed screen tearing. I honestly don't know how many games I have that's capable of reaching the frame rates of my refresh rate which is 144hz. But I do have a 4070ti, so maybe it does.
Lot's of answers and ways around that. People just love to ♥♥♥♥♥ though.
1: ur eyes cant register it
2: it breaks the game in multiple ways...
Dunno what you're talking about, I'm maxed out graphics and I hover between 80 - 130
Yea I'm sure they're working on your patch right now.
Like what's even the point here? Nothing is going to change it, you're not helping anyone, there's absolutely no reason to discuss FPS in Elden Ring besides the performance issues the DLC introduced. Beyond that, it's a dead issue.
You could talk endlessly for hours about FPS and next year on this date, the facts will remain the same. So let it go. Pick something else to worry and talk about. Maybe just go play and have fun.
Age effects eyes so it makes sense as we get older we may not recognize the difference, hitting 30 and I can tell my eyes aren't as good as they used to be.
I think a majority of 'more frames' comes down to being used to it. Its harder to notice the change from 60fps to 144fps, but someone who routinely plays at 144fps will feel the frames being less smooth if it drops to 60fps.
For me, if a game is stuck at 60 its alright, I consider it the minimum needed for a good experience, and after like 30 minutes I don't even notice it most of the time.
Please tell me your hardware and settings, I'm sure youre using some kind of mod to get past 60 FPS too, not trying to be a ♥♥♥♥ just genuinely curious.
I have a 7900XT with a 5700X3D and 32 GB RAM, I cannot get stable 60 at 1440p which seems ridiculous to me, but I'm maxing out game and Ray tracing on High. The game dips to the 30s and 40s for me all the time and its annoying the ♥♥♥♥ out of me because it seems like a crappy port, for how it looks the game should not run this poorly.
Why not go back to a console, then?
Idiot.
YES! FINALLY! Another PRO CS player without any new game insulting me randomly!
Greetings, buddy! He, i should just plain report you but this thread man.....i love it, people coming to insult me just because i said you can actually enjoy Elden Ring with 60 FPS!
Check your games, now check my library.....do you honestly belive i need a "CoNsOlE"? At least you own Elden Ring, all together with a lot of free to play games....what about any new game? Need my 4090? Just dude.....be nice next time, specially with others because in my case this is ENTERTAINMENT.
Thanks for your kind words and complains dear PrO CS player. Have a good one!
