Buy it right meow, that way you'll have plenty of time to play it before the DLC drops
When you do use spirit summons and all the tools available in the game like exploring and overleveling
it is also the easiest souls game.
Defnitely best of the souls series for first timers
Game was also made by Fromsoft with the intention to be better fitting for first timers than their other souls games
Elden Ring can be easy but it uses rng-random number game- Meaning: A boss may be hard or easy depending on a random selection done by the games built in engine, further simplified: Sometimes Bosses are hard and sometimes easy depending on a random pick.
Elden Ring can be fine but be aware it will sometimes get rediculously hard at times and then try again and it may become much easier all dependent on a random software pick.
Like the lottery, if you are lucky, you could potentially breeze through the game like its a joke....
OR the game may punish you relentlessly if you are unlucky.
You see, if you know this if the game is being hard on you, you wont feel so bad because of the rng effect the game's built around- then you will try again knowing, well, basically, its Rigged!
"Easiest" is with a bit of a caveat though, there's extra-tough bosses sprinkled all over the place that you probably will want to save for later (you'll usually notice if something is out of your league after the first few attempts) and some of the gameplay mechanics that help balance things out are a bit hidden (IMO you should start with access to the Spirit-Summoning Bell instead of having to find a certain character to get it, for instance). If you get stuck somewhere, you can always go somewhere else first and see if you like that place better.
(Also worth pointing out that the 10 starting classes have wildly varying ease of play, apart from the obvious joke class for challenge runs you probably don't wanna play as Prophet or Bandit without prior experience because their starting weapons are tricky to use properly. My goto recommendation is Confessor since they have access to a good shield, healing magic, a stealth buff AND a regular sword, so you can mess around with a lot of playstyles and see what you like the most)
lol i have more than 800h in souls games combined and have no idea what you are talking about.
Bosses in Elden Ring have scripted attacks based on your positioning ( distance and angle)
there is very little rng where a boss chosses 1 of 3 attacks for a specific situation.
ofc it does exist
There are moments were the boss randomly chooses an attack out of a pool of options
but thats for sure not the majority of situations
If you're worried about difficulty: Elden Ring is by far the easiest of any souls game. Provided you spend a decent time exploring so you're roughly in the appropriate level range and weapon upgrade range for each boss you'll have a fine time
Least obvious rage bait
