This game runs awful, getting horrible FPS
I have a RTX 2060 Super and Ryzen 5 2600 and even on the lowest settings on 1440p I can't get 60fps, why?! Even at 1080p I can't

something on your end. Got a similiar set up and no issues

because this game needs bandwidth, 3000MHz dual channel RAM and above can hold stable 60 FPS , additional to this the 2000 series CPU's perform very bad with this game.
AMD CPU l.o.l

Worried it might be Ryzen 5 2600 might be the issue but how is Red Dead Redemption 2 running better than this??

Rdr2 is a dx 11 game.

Elden Ring is a very CPU heavy game, you won't hit a stable 60 fps on a Ryzen 5 2600, no matter the settings. You can look up "Ryzen 5 2600 Elden Ring" on YouTube, none of the videos hit 60, no matter the GPU.

Refund the game for now and think about upgrading your machine. You'll need a new motherboard though, most likely.

Wrong RDR2 is either DX12 or VULKAN game

The reason you're getting the same framerate no matter the settings and resolution is because you're CPU bottlenecked.

try windowed-fullscreen insted of fullscreen..sometimes helps

the game needs at least windows 10 version build 1803 what means it supports only the DX 11 API because with 1803 the dx 12 specific API is not existent at windows 10.

the DX12 specific API commands (12_0) where introduced with a later build of windows what means it supports only dx 11 api commands.

And / or RAM bottlenecked. Zen+ CPUs officially only support RAM speeds up to 2933MT/s. The Ryzen 2600 has a max boost of only 3.9GHz. Upgrading to Zen2 or especially Zen3 and upgrading to faster RAM makes a huge difference.

this might sound stupid but, try increasing some settings to get more usage off your gpu.
plus ur cpu bottlenecked. idk im saying this because, when i had a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ super bottlenecked pc some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ athlon cpu paired with a gtx 970. in BF4 for some reason if i try to squeeze out more usage to my gpu by increasing some settings. i will get more fps but since your settings are soo low your pretty much making ur cpu doing most of the work.even doe its weak lmao
