Level matchmaking sucks

I just recently realized I can only get matched with levels around mine..which sux..does anyone know how wide the range is

It depends on your highest weapon upgrade level as well.
To get summoned faster, don't wait at certain boss fogs. Instead activate all summoning pools and then use your small golden effigy with the option " near and far".

Yes I'm currently in NG+7 with just about 75% of the pools on.. but I'm semi high leveled so I just found out that has a lot to do with it

Ah, ok, that explains why you don't get summoned.
The most activities happen on the lower levels. Maybe you should create a new char for this ? I got good results on RL25 / +3/ +1. RL35 / +5 / +2. RL45/+8 /+3 and RL 50/+10 /+4.
Should also work pretty well until RL90 or so.
