Calm Down and Extreme Repentance gestures
Spoilers, I guess?

Patches has already moved to Liurnia in my game, but I now learned about the 2 gestures you can get from him:

To get Extreme Repentance, you need to fight patches again (when he's friendly), get to low HP, and he'll let you grovel for mercy.
Can you do it anytime and anywhere you meet him? I'm afraid to attack him and not get the chance to re-friend him cuz I may have missed my shot back in the cave.

To get Calm Down, you need to get trapped by the chest in the cave whilst patches is there, and then come back to him.
As I said before that he's left the cave, am I too late for the party?
I know he comes back full circle to the cave at the end of the questline... Can I do it then?
Can I just get trapped now, and talk to him in Liurnia?

I doubt it as questlines can be broken easily may have to go to NG+ to do it

I'm afraid you missed Calm Down, you can't get it in Liurnia. ( Happened to me as well yesterday, because I forgot to return to him before entering Liurnia.)
But the Extreme Repentance gesture you can get later. After finishing Patches questline he'll return to the Murkwater Cave. There you can hit him a few times and start a fight to get it.

Ok, so it's just as I thought...
Oh well, no harm done. Since there's no achievement for it in this game, I'm in no rush to go NG+ to get the missable one(s).
