BELL BEARING BUG

I gave the bell bearings to the npc at the roundhouse table but the smithing stones that were equivalent to the bell bearings did not appear in the shop. I tried verifying the files ,purchasing something from the shop but nothing changed . Can anybody help?

Which smithing stones are you expecting to be able to buy.
If you are trying to get Somber Stones you got the wrong item.

This doesn't seem possible and if so I doubt there's a fix. Best options are find someone willing to give you the bell bearings and try again, or, go on without purchasing smithing stones, or, start over.

You might be the first person to ever give Twin Maiden Husks a bell bearing and not have the item in their shop afterwards.

1st thoughts are to check the wiki if you did kill the correct bosses for the bellbearings. Second is that, if you're willing to risk it, you can use grand merch or cheat engine to give you the bell bearings again to see of thesame result happens.

I did check the wiki and the assumption that this is a bug is correct.

Let's verify something. Do you look through the husk's regular shop or you expect a specifc shop like when you give an NPC bell-bearing?

I did look through the regular shop for the smithing stones
