Game won't launch, "Easy Anti-Cheat" crashing on "waiting for game/Initializing game"

Game won't launch, "Easy Anti-Cheat" crashing on "waiting for game/Initializing game". I've verified files, deleted the easy-anti cheat .sys file, reinstalled easy anti-cheat. Elden Ring STILL won't launch!!!!! It crashes while this easy anti-cheat piece of cr*p loads up the game". 300 hours. Can't even START Elden Ring anymore. What do I do now????

How many times and people does it take to get it into you its NOT EAC thats the issue. Refund the game as clearly you cant play it

The only one wasting anybody's time is the dev who F-d up my system. It's either Steam of Easy Anti-Cheat. One of those. Also, I'm noticing a trend of blaming the end-user. What's more likely, that I did it, or that it was one of the THOUSANDS of auto-updates coming in from Steam and every "game launcher" and "anti cheat" application installing new stuff on almost hourly basis serving NO purpose whatsoever to be able to play a simple game I paid money for. Use your brain, stop blaming the end user.

You got the answer from Dark-Breed, you need to look elsewhere for help, he has helped well over 1000 people here to fix their systems and start the game or solve other technical problems with the game or the computer.

He doesn't like to be insulted, especially not by someone who has absolutely no idea about computers. Insulting him is a line that shouldn't be crossed. A few people have had to add that to their experiences, the time and the knowledge, The fact that he has invested here to help people is remarkable and unique.

His initial assumption was that I F-ed up my own system, so he wanted me to run a bunch of commands in CMD that had zero relevance to the issue I'm experiencing. Like I said, you should stop blaming the end user when Steam and their launchers force thousands of auto updates a month on their users that will inevitably F up everyone's system.

You have to use your brain to fix your system. As Dark-Breed said, you only got step one out of ten from him, he uses a methodical analysis and clarifies all the parts involved step by step, before he tinkers with the EAC, there are a lot of other things to check to rule out a Windows internal system error , you have blocked these opportunities for yourself with your amateurish behavior.

I don't know what a "dark breed" is or what you're talking about, all I need is solution for Elden Ring not launching. I haven't touched my "system" since last time I played this game. However since then Steam has "auto updated" about one thousand times without my consent, which is probably what F-ed it up.

I AM using my brain, but Steam and their game launchers are making it extremely hard to pin-point the issue as it could be one of the thousands of system-destroying auto updates it's been forcing on me (without my consent by the way) for the past few months.
